The Canadian federal and Provincial Governments have put significant focus on economic stimulation through investment in the Bio-Resource Sector in hopes of producing sustainable commercial technologies. An example is the $330 Million Atlantic Innovation Fund that was launched in May of 2004.
Clients wishing to do research could be eligible for significant assistance by partnering with Olfactive. A $25 Million National Research Council Institute of Nutrisciences and Health has been erected solely for the purpose of discovering new Bioactive Technologies.
Other research institutions in PEI are the UPEI and the Altlantic Veterinary College.
This valuable private sector-government relationship will provide Olfactive' trading partners with access to state-of-the-art research and new commercial potentialities.
